My name is Lauren Cross and I operate under the name Techie LC.  I am a 2020 graduate from the University of Cumbria with a BA(Hons) in Performing Arts with a specialism in technical theatre. 
Since University I have worked in a variety of productions in a range of different roles- from sound design to backstage crew to stage management. All of this work has helped me to expand my skill set from what I learned to make me a more flexible and versatile theatre professional having worked in a established theatre for a show to touring around the country with smaller plays to working at the Edinburgh fringe as a general venue technician. 
Out of all the things I have learnt and developed I have to main areas I tend to gravitate towards: Sound Design and Stage Management. 
Whilst my portfolio is currently small I am constantly working to improve and gain more experience.
